Often little known, the Côte des Havres is a unique group of 8 harbors which line the west coast of Cotentin. Discovering the harbors at low tide is a must-have experience when you are on the west coast.

Prepare to use your five senses.

When you arrive at the edge of the harbour, it is a living painting offered to you : the purple of sea lavender, the ash color of obione, the transparency of water... You have to add to that the melody of the place : the sheep bleating in the distance, the birds playing with the wind, the sound of your footsteps on the grass.

In the heart of the harbour, take off your shoes to cross the waterways and let the little fish tickle your ankles.

The harbor is full of edible plants with a more or less pronounced taste : salicornia and its salty taste, maritime mugwort and its wormwood taste or even maritime aster that some chefs appreciate in cooking.
