Between La Haye-du-Puits and Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, the Sangsurière and Adriennerie National Nature Reserve constitutes one of the last active lowland peat bogs, with more than 10 meters of peat thickness. On the site, you can discover 230 different botanical species, around fifty of which are protected or rare (orchids such as summer spiranthe and carnivorous plants).
The fauna also thrives within the reserve: the gray harrier, the crested lapwing but also a small dragonfly, the Mercury agrion.
Parking, picnic area, landscaped viewpoint. Educational panels at the entrance to the reserve. Guided tours provided by the Parc des Marais (by reservation).
